To keep you knives performing at their best, and safe to use, it is recommended that you have your knives sharpened every 6 months. This represents an investment of approximately $2 per knife per month. It is a bit like getting your car serviced. Regular servicing keeps your car performing at its best. Irregular servicing can lead to major repairs. This is not unlike your knives. the longer the time between ‘services’ the more likely they will need more than just sharpening.
When you use your knife, it should cut easily with minimal effort and not be a chore to use. The more effort required, the greater the risk of injury. If you’re finding it hard work, your knives need sharpening.
Each knife is treated as an individual.
